Reflection for 3rd september 2017, celebrating 22d Sunday of ordinary season,of cycle 1. Today church invite us to reflect(1)how to stay happy in our ever changing life(2) how to easily achieve that thru' practicing of Catholicism

First let us remind, the baic catholc princple "God created you to lead a happy life" then who is God. Many religions are talking about God, are they same?

Then let us analyze whether the definition of God same in all religions!

(in Christianity and other monotheistic religions) the definition of God is the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being.

(in certain other religions) it is defined as superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes: a deity.

Catholic, God is triune, where as other, monotheistic religions such as Islamic or judaism, it is not so.

Catholicism gives us an easy method, of practicing what God has asked us to do to enjoy happiness in our life, as guarantee by HIM. For that simply we have to follow HIS will in our life.
A society is formed with many people with different vocations. There is no uniformity in the vocations. Similarly God's Will for you is not same as mine. Catholicism main aim is to facilitate to find the God's Will for you.

Let us analyze how to lead our life to accommodate God's will.

PLAN,ACT,VERIFY &REVISE is basic management cycle,adopted by any person. But when you accept God created you to lead happy life,this cycle before to this cycle automatically you should follow 3 major points.

(1)To reach mental happiness,you should be able to convert Belief to Trust,then to Faith,finally renounce your knowledge,about God
(2)To reach physical happiness,drink water+daily physical excercise+use latest technology(keep changing)+finally keep on renouncing
(3)For overall happiness, convert your fears to courage with help of Mary/saints,then to brave(wisdom of following God's will),finally renouncing.
WHAT IS THIS RENOUNCING JESUS TALK IN TODAY'S GOSPEL? Means you keep on changing your life,according to God's Will for you.

It is similar to drive auto geared car. You drive but God change the gears. Change,you may not like: it may be a cross to you. But God assured your happiness! HIS way is not human way!. Look HE was not bothered to write books,as how to live. HE allow others to write.

Today's reading:

Prop Jeremia (Jr:20: 7-9) says"The word of the Lord has meant insult for me"
Paul says to Romans(RM12:1-2)" offer your bodies as a living sacrifice"
MT(16:21-27) says"If anyone wants to be follower of mine, let him renounce himself."

Jesus have the gift of saying directly and plainly, with a power to penetrate all our defenses, and lead us to a new awareness. Today's message put before us the paradox Of the Gospel. We gain life by letting go of it. If I put my happiness, my being loved, at the centre of my life, then I will surely fail, even though to be loved,and to be happy are really important. If on the other hand, I put the happiness of others first,and love them unconditionally, then I will too will know unselfish love and deep happiness. This is the very insight and wisdom that Jesus puts before us as the key not just to love,but to life that Within that the key to authentic disciple ship precisely as A way of life.

Naturally, you life is changing everyday, whether you follow God's will or not. Everyday your cells in the body changes.
After 7 years, you have completely new set of cells. You cannot stop going into old age!.you cannot stop death. So changes are inevitable in our life. Some changes gives you happiness, while some changes are creating fear and sorrow in our life. When you allow these changes to be under the direction of God, then you know HE will not change your life to make you miserable. You know HE has assured a happy life for you. You can always convert your fear and sorrow to happy by handing over such to mary and saints.(Like in cana) Then you will see with time, you will be happy clearing your fear and sorrow. You have to be patient Without losing faith with God. May be certain changes in your life become immediate cross to you, but when you carry that cross with faith, you will enjoy happiness. The time taken to resolve your unhappy moments to become happy does not have fixed time. You leave such to the hands of God. For example, last sunday we celebrate feast of st monica,who waited for many years to see his son St Augustine conversion. St Augustine was having an illicit attachment with a women who was to be his mistress for 15 years, until at the age of 33, he identified his fault and converted. Monica his mother was always praying to God for his conversion. St augustine told" never can I describe what her love was for me. By her glance as well as her words she raised our hearts to God, if I am your child, oh my God, it is because you did give me such a mother".
St augustine died in august 28, 430 ad, was doubtless one of the world greatest thinkers: as a theologian and phioshoper he is outstanding among church fathers for the influence he wielded.

When you don't have good faith with God,when problem persist, sometimes you might devate from God.
When there's a disappointment, it is not the end. It may be a beginning of a great adventure. We can always begin again. That may be God's will to change your direction.

Stagnant life is like a lake. There is no water flowing out or into it. But a river there is a water flow like our life. But you may happy to see a water fall. Water is changing very fast. Similarly a busy persons life is like water fall. He changes according to God's direction, to serve God and to enjoy hAppiness in this world and next.
Historically you may be a good catholic, but if you don't develop faith and not vigilant abut God's will, God will call you "satan" like today's gospel

In conclusions,

1)in leading your life you always plan-act-verify &rewise any of your actions
(2)but there is a limitation to Ur plan, since you don't know 100% results of Ur action & may be you become sad,though U hv planned according to Ur will
(3)but God created you to lead a happy life& given you KEY TO HAPPINESS
(4)for that 1st follow catholic management cycle FAITH-BRAVE-HAPPY-RENOUNCE,then normal cycle
(5)as a catholic,once you may hv led life like a rock,but failure to develop each step: belief to trust to faith;fear to courage, then to brave;unhealthy to healthy,make you to deviate from carrying out God's will in your life
(6)be vigilant to renounce each step
(7)once you have become rock,but now will HE call you satan?

For that always prepared to be renounced by yourself, according to God' Will!

1)Why Jesus was asking U'WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?',is HE wants to boast about HIMSELF?
(2)Can U ask the same Question from your friend about you? Do U want to be MP?
(3)Why only God can ask this question not U and me?
(4)A bulb to light,U need current. When U don't know about current,can U replace the bulb without electrifying?
(5)There are many unknown factors in Ur life.for example,U don't know what will happen inside your body, when U eat!(No control).So fear is ever present in Ur life. When U live With fear U become unhealthy/unhappy. What is the unique method given by Catholicism, to hand over Ur fear & lead a courages life?

Fear is ever present in human life. Fear can come within your body,outside to your body, or from a natural calamity. Fear is mainly coming from the uncertainty of humans to know about future. Hence how to treat fear. First you should acknowledge the fact, that God knows every thing, about you past,present and future. Can you imagine, whether HE will know all information of billions of people in the world.
Just think about your mobile telephone. The telephone operator knows, where you live, how you move, with whom you are in contact?. All your mails etc, only he doesn't know what you think?. When you have access to telephone network, you can get to know about other persons movement, as well as what he talks or write,how he is traveling etc. When the present day technology is like this,is it difficult to believe about God?.
Hence fear can be treated only by the method, provided by God. Has HE Written any book? No. HIS. Methods are not the same way as human thinks.
It appears that HIS instructions are always going thru' 3rd party. Look at HIS instructions. Only 4 gospel writers have shown us. HE has not written any book.
Once you believe that Gospel is given by HIM or inspired by HIM, why HE allowed 4 writers?. Why HE was rude to caanite woman, why HE has shown Cana miracle? So unless, you reflect yourself, or you have wisdom develop to reflect, the full instructions by HIM will not reach you.

How to treat fear under Christianity?
How to be a brave person?
Let us analyze the difference between

Fear,Courage&Brave
Courage involves presence of fear while bravery lacks it. Fear is ever presence in life due to many reasons. Then can you lead a brave life? In Cana, wedding chiefs feared about shortage of wine. Though Jesus was there, Mary saw the wine shortage &request Jesus for help. She didn't know what Jesus will ask them to do,yet she had faith that HE will remove all fears. Jesus didn't make wine out of NOTHING. HE wanted them to fill water. Why? Though Mary intercede,the chiefs have to fill water. They have to follow what God asked them to do. Otherwise,NO WINE. Jesus is asking today" WHO DO U SAY I AM?"To answer this, follow the unique method in Catholism to handover your fears to Mary &Saints. Are U afraid/frightened of loosing earth bound cravings such as power,money & desires?Are U coward(a person who lacks the courage)Do U value our Clergy,who are Brave enough to show others about Jesus?

When you used to hand over problems in your life, your focus in your life has to be oriented toward God. When you forget God, and not searching what HE is asking you to do, then when you start craving towards earth bound needs, your handing over problems get short sighted.

Paul to Romans(Rm 11:33-36) says"All that exist comes from HIM: and all Is by HIM,and for HIM"
MT(16:13-20) ssays" You are Peter,and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven"

Reflect: when Jesus presses the question, who do you say I am?, we feel HIM speaking to us. Naturally we think our faith now in the light of our own journey of life and pilgrimage of faith. How did I start out? What was my image of Jesus then and how did I relate to HIM? Have there being a major turning point for me and can I name one or two?, how have I deepened my familiarity with Jesus and who is HE for me now? If I were to choose an image or metaphor what would come to mind?. If I were to explain to someone what my faith in Jesus is, what words would I use?

You have seen there are 2 types of vehicles
Auto and manual. In auto driven car, you are not bothered about the road is hilly,or you are in traffic, the auto gear system looks after all. But when you are driving manually, you have to bother about your road whether it is hilly or many other things. Similarly, when you are following God's will, your life is auto driven. You drive but God change the gears.

How to allow God to change gears of your life vehicle?
First understand that fear is inevitable in your life. Then always hand over such fears to holy Mary or respective saints. While you are doing that, be clear about following God's instructions.(Filling water in cana). Then you will see that you get courage to handle any problem that you face in your life.

So unique method of catholism to hand over your fear to Mary and saints will allow you to lead a courageous life, while following 7 ethics, then identifying what God wants you to do, make it as your wisdom, allow God to act thu' your life.

Then you should be brave enough (without fear) to explain about HIM, thru your life example. 1st thing is to follow what HE has told. Don't feel shy to explain to others 'WHO DO you SAY JESUS IS?'. God will never force anybody to follow HIM. Similarly you also cannot force anybody to become catholic, but you should be brave enough to explain them what is Catholicism.

In conclusion, you will see that Christ become Now, HE is past, present and future.
Your are driving but God changes gears for you to drive happily. You like to drive what?

Reflection for 20th august 2017, celebrating 20th Sunday mass of ordinary season,of cycle 1. Today church invite us to reflect 3 major points:
(1)how to develop faith in our life. What is the characteristic of Faith
(2) salvation is not only limit to the people who receive christ
(3)God's concern about rejection of Christ by HIS own people.

Let's first analyze about Faith

Would I be right in saying that you were a little bit shocked by todays Gospel?.and if you were,what is that shocked you? Wasn't it the way Jesus behaved towards the cannonite women?. At first, HE refused to talk to her. When HE did talk to her, HE seemed downright rude. 'It s not fair to take the children's food.'HE said' and throw it to little dogs?(Mt 15:26). Sure a man that had any manners at all would not suggest, even by implication, that a woman was a dog, especially when she had a daughter who was seriously ill,indeed Jesus was so deaf to her entreaties earlier on, so dismissive apparently that HIS disciples implored HIM to say something to her, even if it was only to tell her to' clear off'. The way Jesus behaved in this slightly ill tempered encounter seems to be entirely out of character. I suppose most charitable construction you could put on to it to say HE was having a bad day!.

Why God the son, wanted to show this story to us?. For that we have to be clear to the difference between Belief/Trust/faith

In order to understand the difference, let us follow a story:
A man famous for tight rope walking across Niagara Falls,performed even pushing a wheel barrow on the rope. He then wished to walk across on the tight rope pushing a wheel barrow with a person in it! He asked the crowd if they believe he could do it.

They yelled'YES',so he asked for a volunteer. NOBODY CAME.

Distinction between TRUST & BELIEF,is that they believed he can push it with a person,but they did not trust him enough to put their lives on it.

Trust is acquired over a period of time,which in time will eventually lead to Faith. Trust does not come automatically. It MUST be tested,tried &proven & once it is established over a period of time, faith will overtake trust.

Faith DOES NOT have to be tested,tried or proven. FAITH is the total & complete confidence/allegiance.

So cannonite women, in this story, should have develop faith, following the process of belief and Trust, though the story doe not reveal anything about this!

Similar incidence you might have notice with Holy Mary in Mt 12:48, where Jesus was talking about who is HIS mother! But Holy Mary never appears to be considered the statement! Why because her faith. Imagine if it happens to your mother with respect to you, you will big drama!.

Faith can be developed only with God. God and saints are ideal persons. You can trust any human. But of you is ever changinmg your characteristics with repect to time, leading you not to develop faith with any body!.

Today's reading:
Prop Isiah says(IS 56:1.6-7)"I will bring prisoners to this Holy mountain"

Paul to Romans(RM 11:13-15.29-32) sAyS" With Isrel God never take back HIS Gifts or revoke HIS choice.

MT (15:21-28) says" Women you have a great faith"

Today' gospel Jesus changes HIS mnd. How is that possible twice I'm matthews gospel,Jesus limit HIS ministry to the lost sheep, of the house of isrel.(Mt 10:6.; 15:24) in today's story however, a very fiesty woman,clearly not a daughter of Abraham,With her urgency and witty Report, brings Jesus to recognize needs of those beyond the ethnic confine of jews people. They are ordinary human beings too, just a much in need of the good news of the kingdom,as anyone else.

Today 2nd reading paul remnds us, that he glorifies in his ministry to gentiles, although he deeply regret the rejection of christ by some of his own people,the jews. And God will not give up on them either. In the Gospel, Jesus at first seem to go alone with the exclusiveness of the Jews." My mission is only to lost sheep of the house of Israel. But cannonite women refuse to be put off. "Help me Lord" she cries. And HE gives in." Woman you have a great FAith, your wish will come to pass" ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CHOSEN PEOPLE IN ORDER TO HAVE FAITH AND BE SAVED.

In conclusion today's Gospel mainly reveal how to develop faith in your life. First you have to experience the trust with God and HIS love to you, then only you develop Faith, where what ever the outcome in your life, you will not discouraged and always depend on HIM
The last point to derive is no one is lost except by his own free, deliberate and malicious choice. God's Wills the salvation of all people not only Christians!
In conclusion God shows mercy to all! Are you jealous?
