A. Back ground: during this lent we started reflecting:
(1) understand concept of Catholicism or why God has created you? For what purpose. Then only you have to read the scriptures, otherwise you might end up in the hands of Satan.
(2) Any religious person has to have the religious Ethics. What is 7 catholic religious ethics, given by Father and son?. Then after that what are the ethics given by Holy Spirit thru' church for you?. Clearly understand that and adhere in your life
(3) When you follow above (1)+(2), what you should see in your life. You should see the dazzling God, in your life. You will see, how HE has safeguarded you, even when
You were sinning. You will get confidence about God, even for your future activities.

Today,
You will see, that, how you convert your talents to attitudes, serving society, be a fruit full human. This will lead a proactive life for you. What is proactive has to be clearly understand!.

B. Preamble for today's readings:

B.1- human types:

People are of 3 types
(1)Inactive-Laziness/primary reason,while getting frequent anger/no ability to persist in activity,looks like extreme lack of motivation

(2)Reactive- you are active but with Pride,envy,lust, avarice,gluttony. You will be happy when expected results of your action is met,otherwise your thought process become dull&exhibit no emotionality.

(3)Proactive-able to change events rather than react to them &make things happen. For that practice 7Ethics of Catholicism,(10 comms+7 sacraments+avoid7vices+practice7 Corporal/Spiritual Mercies+pardoning+love). You enjoy wisdom of your life.(God guarantee your HAPPINESS).

B.2 peaceful and worry free mind
By following 7 catholic ethics and adhering to church rules, you can develop peaceful mind. In order to achieve, you should be sin less. You should be clear, by getting pardoning from your sins, through the sacrament of confession. Then only you can achieve peaceful mind. Then your worries can be handed over thru' mary + saints to God, to have a worry less mind. This year catholics are opportune to have a door of Mercy. What is Door of Mercy?

Pope Francis has declared extraordinary Jubilee year until20/11/2016. You can receive Indulgence(granting freedom for punishment due to sin)by going thru 'Door Of Mercy'!,with,

(1)CONFESSION{even severe sins such as abortion, you can get it pardoned)
(2)receive HOLY EUCHARIST
(3)cross Door
(4)PRAY FOR intention of POPE)

Conditions: (1) within 20 Days after holy Eucharist, you can cross the door
(2)Only once/day you can cross
(3) While crossing, you can request for your help and to support any death person,releasing from purgatory!.

B.2 Today Gospel reading invites us to reflect about, fruit fullness of our life. Everybody in this world likes to achieve this. Jesus tell us a parable. In the parable, one person waited for 3 years; to see fruits in the fig tree. Why 3 years specific? Why not 5 years?
Here Jesus is fore telling that 3 year cycle of sunday readings, which will be available after 1500 years. Why, 1500 years?. Because it took around 1500 years to organize this kind of sunday readings, with St Pius V started around 1550. This has been revised by Bl paul VI, during 2nd vatican council. It is amazingly synchronized, the sections from bible, for reading 1(normally from old testament), reading 2(normally from early church) and from Gospels. Hands of Holy spirit is clearly shown!. One can enlighten about total Catholicism, when they reflect all sunday readings in one cycle of 3 years. When you are reflecting don't forget the concept of catholism;
(1) God has created you to be happy
(2)Father phase- During old testament God was training humans(thru' jews) how to use free will and given 10 commandments
(3)Son's phase- jesus showed us how to manage our free will, provided 7 ethics to follow.
(4) Holy spirit formed the church; thru' papal infallability, HE will guide all humans, how to manage paradigm change of people due to technological advancements. HE will provide necessary church rules to be adhered by humans, in addition to 7 Ethics for catholics.

C. Today's Readings:
Book of Exodus(Ex 3:1-8.13-15) says"GOD appeared to Moses/as fire flame in a bush which wasn?t burning/God said?I?m God of Ur fathers/I?ve heard cry of my people in Egypt,against slave drivers/Say to them?God of Abraham sent me to U"

Paul(1 cor 10:1-6.10-12) says?Our ancestors had a cloud over them,passed thru?a sea,ate& drank from spiritual rock.That rock was Christ?

Lk(13:1-9)says "Were these Galileans worse sinners?Unless U repent U'll perish/Parable of Fig tree-No fruits for 3years/Cut it down if it doesn?t bear fruit within next year?

D. Remind;Outcome of catholic life depends on Reading scripture with catholic concept&following 7Ethics.Then you are PROACTIVE(change events than react to them & make things happen). Your life become fruitful &Happy. Your actions will talk louder than words. You will develop good attitude towards society, towards God's kingdom(talent/skills/knowledge/hard work/attitude for glory of GOD).

E. Conclusion: during lent, first Sunday, we were warned to reflect Bible, with the clear understanding about "concept of Catholicism" otherwise, you end up in the hands of satan.

Or sometimes, unwanted person trying to fight with you, so that you will be delayed in traveling, may be a blessing for you to avoid an accident. You will see, when you are with God, you become PROACTIVE. For a short period of time you notice, un logical,unexpected thing happen, for you to change the direction. There is no other way that God can change your direction otherwise. Today you will see the practical catholic life. Other aspect that we are told today was, that we should develop our talents to good attitudes. For this it is very important for us to avoid 7 vices; sloth,anger,pride,envy,lust,avarice,gluttony
Once you achieve both of these, you become a Proactive catholic.

WHY IN THE PARBOL TOLD"3" YEARS WAITING FOR FRUIT?

Jesus has foretold 3 yearly cycle of sunday readings, very much ahead than 1500 years. You can get full picture of how to lead your life, in 3 years, by following sunday readings. We are thank ful to St pius v and bl Paul VI, in arranging these sunday readings,with blessing of Holy Spirit, so that, one can get full understanding about God's kingdom in 3 years, then practice his life, with 7 ethics of catholism, with church rules+having running sacraments of confession and receiving holy Eucharist.

Today is the 3rd sunday of the lent!

during lent, first sunday, we were warned to reflect Bible, with the clear understanding about "concept of Catholicism" otherwise, you end up in the hands of satan.
During 2nd sunday, we were told,that when we follow. 7 catholic Ethics+ church rules, you will see magic in your life; I.e God has been with you from your birth, and you become convince that the presence of God, in all your actions.

A. Back ground: During lent, church invite us to train to regulate our will. It started with Ash Wednesday,(obligatory to fast),and during this 40 days of lent, you are invited, to revisit your life, where, without your knowledge it has gone wrong!. It is similar that you are not regularly, measuring your body weight(you think,that you are careful about food,and your weight is within limits. But when you measure weight, you will find, that you are over weight, and you need, special changes to adjust your weight, for your own health). Similar to this, during lent period, you are opportune to revisit your life, for your own happiness.
Major problem, we analyze on last sunday(1st sunday of lent), we tend to form our own opinion, sometimes,getting from the Bible itself. Jesus tested by satan, is a clear indication, that when you acquire word from scripture without knowing God's concept clearly may lead to deviate from God.
Concept is a thought or an idea that represents a set of related notions. Consider following words; TAIL, FUR, TEETH, 4 LEGS - What does these words describe? It can be a cat, dog, lion or a bear. Fact is we really can't tell just from these words. Crucial details are missing. If we add the word BARK & rethink - what is being described now? A Dog! As other animals don't bark, these words uniquely define concept of DOG!
Likewise, Bible has been uniquely written to explain CONCEPT OF HUMAN CREATION by God.
Today it add, major characteristics of catholic living: To see magic in your life!. Ie you will see, after following 7 Ethics of Catholicism and church rules, you, will see, all your past life also being monitored by God, and even the present life, is led by God and YOU ARE HAPPY. So you see transfigured God in your life.

B. Preamble for today's reading:

B.1- concept of Catholicism

It is very important to understand the concept of Catholicism, before reading scripture. Bible is very big book: when you read, you have to be clear, the purpose of writing this book.(Concept). The purpose of human creation by God!. This can be listed as follows:

(1)God created human,with freedom,to be happy in your life. Always,freedom is subject to law
(2)Adam & Eve,action resulted,the following to be introduced to humans

(A)childhood
(B.fear/sorrow/pain
(C)death(your eternal life in 2 stages/

(3)God,selected Jews to show humans,how to use your Free will;With direct intervention with humans, thru' Prophets :10 comms given
(4)JESUS, showed,how practically,you should manage,your Free will,independent to God. If you wish you can accept God to intervene into your life. Basically HE showed,how to mange fear&sorrow in your life. Gethsamane & Golgotha are main pictures. HE introduced 7Ethics to be followed,when God become invisible
(5)Holy Spirit Formed church, thru' Pope,HE will guide,all humans who wish to follow HIM. That is how church rules came.

Just to summarize, Reading of Holy scripture has to be done,with correct concept in mind. Otherwise you might end up with satan,who drags you to misery, thru' scripture.

B.2. Fasting and lent!

If you want to increase your weight by1Kg,you need 9000 K calories of energy. To achieve eat1kg of butter/margarine(oil/fat),or1kg of pork.

BUT REDUCE WEIGHT IS VERY DIFFICULT.

Laborer can burn1200 K cal/8hrs &needs 8 days to reduce1kg of his weight/do exercise for 30min/day,you need1 month. You become over weight due to accumulation of additional energy you take by food. Best way to control your weight(reduce) is fasting-you use reserve(consumed in excess)food.

This helps to cure diseases,from toxins present in your body. Fasting in absence of reserve food is called starving!.prolonged starvation leads to death but fasting leads you to remove toxins accumulated in your body. Fasting REQUIRE WILL POWER, MENTAL DISCIPLINE &CAPACITY TO WITHSTAND EMOTIONAL DESIRE for comforts.

During lent, you are train to develop WILL POWER to have control on earth bound comforts(money,power,desires)deriving FROM eye,ear,nose, tongue& touch.

Be cautious!

Don't end up fasting after over eating. Ex: When you decide to fast - say for lunch, don't over eat breakfast & dinner. Take normal quantity for these 2 meals.

Otherwise purpose of fasting is lost.

You can have many other forms of fasting - refrain alcohol/chocolate or avoid watching movies/playing computer games- which will benefit you to lead a happy life. At least fasting one meal is obligatory on Good?Friday!

B.3 7 Ethics of Catholicism
7 ETHICS to follow;

Catholic life is simple to lead. No restriction on food. Follow 7 ethics. Go for confession+receive Holy Eucharist, as a spiritual nourishment for your life. As a professional catholic,you can then
(1)LOVE THE HATE
(2)INCLUDE THE EXCLUDE
(3)ADMIT THAT YOU ARE WRONG.

You will lead a happy life,as directed by God!.

Lk 9:28-36 says "Jesus took Peter,John & James/went up the mountain/face changed & clothe got dazzling white/Moses&Elijah appeared/Peter wanted to make 3 tents/cloud with a voice said “This's my Son; listen to him”/Disciples told no-one”.

Reminds; When we realise the theory behind Catholicism (recognize Eras of Father/Son&HolyGhost) ,and if we believe and attain words said to us, we'll see magic in our lives. The presence of God will shine, whatever the sinful life we have led. Paul+Augustin are good examples. We’ll see magical God if we change life to follow God's Will. To see magic, follow 7 ethics of Catholicism + church rules to (climb hill &) see transfigured God.

D. Conclusions: why God has created you?, (1) to be happy in this life(2) follow His Will. The realization of this, can be varied from person to person. When you follow 7 ethics properly, you start loving God. What ever you are doing, you will see that God is behind you.

We are in 2nd Sunday of lent. All 3 cycles of readings are generally same for these 2Sundays. Summary; 1) We should know clearly the concept of Catholism. 2) We should see God, only in our individual life. In order to do that, we should NOT substitute unseen God with parents, teachers or elders. We should NOT worship anyone except God. How to get the knowledge to understand ethics?

First understand, what is the concept of catholism, then read Bible.

How do you get to know that your life is in the correct path?
(1)You will be happy.
(2) You realise the God's influence to your life, from your birth up to now!
(3) You trust God, by following 7 Ethics, for a happy future. You will see God is always behind you!
(4) You will realise why God has created you?, (1) to be happy in this life(2) follow His Will.(3) don't compare others life, identify what God expect from your life!. It is unique to you

Geostationary satellite place at earth orbit, moves at the same speed of moving of earth and it is stationary with respect to earth. But 1/3 of the weight of the satellite is oil, why oil is needed. It is to fire, in order to make the correction of orbit path.(Tracking). Similarly, our life has to be tract to find whether we really synchronised to the God's path.
During lent season fasting will help us to do that!.

A. Back ground: today is the first sunday of lent. During this period, church invites us to reflect more on,
(1) Jesus, passion,palm sunday, agony at Gethsemani,way of the cross, Calvary, laying of Jesus death body on Holy Mary's lap and placing His death body at cave!.
(2) Why, God,(Jesus) shown us all these things to us. What is the purpose?. Main purpose is to show that when we use Freedom, under the new method(after Jesus), how to manage our Will, how to be with God, during our life turbulent times.
(3) How to revisit in our life, managing and balancing earth bound cravings deriving from money, power and desires/ or how to control our 5 senses, for Glory of God!

B. Preamble for today's readings:

B.1. Ash Wednesday: (10/2/2016){earliest possible ash wednesday) to relevance to lent;
Gregorian calendar is based on Earth, rotating around SUN(12 months,with 365days/ year).If year is divisive by4(but not by400)it results in a leap year (366 days).

Equinox is when sun shines directly on Earth's equator(no shadow).This occurs twice/year; Vernol(Mar)&Autumnal (Sept).

Easter is selected as1st Sunday,following Full Moon(22/3/2016)after vernal equinox(21/3).ASH WEDNESDAY(10/2/ 2016)is 46days(40 days lent+last 6 days for pass over) before Easter Sunday (27/3).

CHRISTMAS is always 25 th Dec but Easter varies?
Because Jesus passion was just after passover ceremony of Jews,where it coincides with Christianity!

Why all cycles lent 1st sunday is always with, Jesus 40 days in wilderness?
Main aim is to show
(1) That satan has raised question that may be valid from Bible, but Jesus answered show us, that reading bible without knowing the Concept of Catholicism, may lead not to happiness but to misery. We should know clearly
(1) why fear/sorrow/death/childhood came after adam and Eve,
(2) how Father(God) trained jews,
(3) to regain the Freedom, with 10 commandments, how Jesus(main part of living with using our free will) showed about 7 ethics to follow,as a preamble to follow God's will. Hence All scripture has to be read with the correct concept in mind.
(2) During these 40 days, catholics can practice, how to train to regulate your will, for the benefit of yours and how to manage your sorrows/worries+physical agonies, with Christianity,by the examples shown by Jesus, in His passion. Main components of managing human life.
(3) In easter season also, there are 40 days, why?. From Jesus, risen from death to accent ion to heaven, HE spent 40 days. Though there are not much detailed from the 4 gospels, there are details to read from documents of early church.

Combining all above points, one can think, during lent, we reflect:
Christ suffered &died not just for happiness in heaven but for justice on earth. During Lent you should prune thru 'penance avoiding sins to be with God. By being hard on yourself,you should make it easier for needy,so that your lent will be their Easter,your dying is for their resurrection.
The different between protestants and Catholic is;
(1) Luther departed church in 1517,
(2) He believed a person is saved solely thru' faith in Jesus Christ,while catholics believe that faith must be accompanied by good works.

B.2:DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FASTING AND STARVING! (Enforcing discipline or control in to your life)

There are 5 basic(without which you will die) elements that any living being (human, animal& trees) need to live: I.e earth,water, air,sunlight and food.(Human needs one more. Ie fire).All these needs are freely given except food. Food has to be searched/earned.
This is the physical input of energy to human's body. When you want to have breakfast you can have it with 100 rs or Rs 5000/ but same effect. Ability to spend for food has become a measure of richness, in present day life. When one person is full of stomach, another person will live with empty stomach. Hence during lent time, church invites us to revisit, about our own luxury life, compared with a real needy.

Back ground of food:
Our body always possess adequate body reserves required to maintain the normal functioning of body at the hour of need. If we keep away from food for sometime, the body will still maintain itself. when once the reserve food stored in the body gets exhausted, it is said that the person is starving. Abstaining from taking any food when the body is able to maintain itself utilizing the reserve food in store is called fasting.

But fasting in the absence of reserve food is called starving!.

Fasting helps to enjoy life!

Fasting will not result in decay & death; where as prolonged starvation results in decay & death!. On the other hand fasting will help to clean the system and throw out the toxins(poisons)present in the body, thus helping cure the diseases that take birth from the toxins present in the body. Aversion to food,diarrhea,vomiting & recurrence of fever are some of the devices our body adopts to throw away the toxins that are produced an account of impaired digestion of food consumed. But one can prevent the recurrence of such things by fasting periodically.

Fasting require will power,mental discipline and capacity to withstand the emotional desire to eat!.

over eating is a weakness and you will become fat. Also food consumed in excess accumulates at different levels in the digestive track and ferments. Due to this impaired condition of toxins build up in the body leading to several diseases. Hence shedding weight is necessary to add years to life and life to years!.

Catholicism shows the physical importance of fasting for our own happiness!.

B.3 concept of Catholicism:

(1) God created human,with freedom,to be happy in your life. Always,freedom is subject to law
(2)Action of Adam and Eve,resulted (a)childhood(B)fear/sorrow/pain(C)death(your eternal life in 2 stages/ to be introduced to humans)

(3)God,showed humans,how to use his Free will,with Jews;With direct intervention with humans:10 commandments were given

(4)JESUS, showed,how practically,we should manage,our Free will,independent to God. If you wish you can accept God to intervene into your life. Basically HE showed,how to mange fear&sorrow in your life. Gethsamane& Golgotha is main pictures. HE introduced 7Ethics to be followed, when God become invisible

(5)Holy Spirit Formed church,thru' Pope, HE will guide,all humans who wish to follow HIM. That is how church rules came.

Reading of Holy scripture has to be done, with correct concept in mind. Otherwise you might end up with satan,who drags you to misery,thru' scripture.

Reminds;(1)satan's(mis)use of Bible is intended to point out that words can be manipulated to say things,it never intended. This is widely practice,even now(IN THE NAME OF GOD).As with the other temptations,Jesus retort proper use of God's word,then satan departs
(2)why most of Christians forget meanings of1st miracle
(3)why you worship parents&RESPECT GOD
(4)Jesus shown,by controlling earth bound needs-money,power and desires)and practising7catholic Ethics,you manage with GOD for provision(turn stones into bread),protection(jump off pinnacle),power(worship satan),to lead happy life.

Conclusion:

lent give us a good opportunity to lead a healthy life, by controlling your 5 senses, sunday reading aiming another important point: that when you read Bible, you should read it, by keeping in your mind, about basic concept of christianity. Otherwise you will fall into the pocket of Satan.
During, lent, it is obligatory to carry out fasting in Ash wednesday and Good Friday
Why only 2 days, why not all 40 days?
Some people eat(take more energy to his body) on the fasting day. When you fast
(Say lunch), you should take normal breakfast, then avoid lunch, then don't over eat dinner!. When you do so, you are not fasting, but you eat more than normal day. During fasting, precaution to be made not to over eat and trained yourself, how to control your urge. On contrary, when you are under weight, you don't have much reserve energy, hence, you have to be careful, not to fast every day for you to leave to starving, which will cause you to fall sick, due to starving! That is why, church encourage only 2 days!
